Therapy for autistic adults
Therapy fails autistic adults far more often than autistic adults fail therapy. Most of the difference is in how sessions are set up.

How sessions are adjusted
You get the structure in advance, permission to skip small talk, no expectation of eye contact, control over lighting and sound, and written summaries afterwards so nothing depends on real-time processing.
- Agenda sent before the session
- Sensory environment agreed and adjustable
- Direct, literal language β no implied meanings
- Written recap after each session
What we actually work on
Burnout recovery, anxiety, trauma, sensory overload aftermath, late-diagnosis identity, and the accumulated damage from years of being told to try harder socially.
Affirming, not corrective
The goal is never to make you appear more neurotypical. Masking is treated as a cost, not a skill to improve.
Common questions
Do you require a formal diagnosis?+
No. Self-identified clients are seen on exactly the same basis.
Can sessions be online with the camera off?+
Yes, and for many clients that is the format that makes the work possible.
Will you push me to socialise more?+
No. Goals are yours; social volume is not treated as a measure of progress.
